The Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas
OPCC works with the Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas to put on the Snow Ball. This organization is a valuable resource for people all over the area. Though this is a Catholic charity, they don’t discriminate based on the religion of people in need.
If someone in the Northeast Kansas area needs food, shelter, or assistance following a disaster, this organization can help. At OPCC, we understand the value of helping our community, and the Snow Ball is a great way to do just that.

A Night to Remember
The Snow Ball Gala is just another opportunity for the people of Kansas to help their neighbors. This is a beautiful, winter-themed gala that rewards the volunteers at the Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas for all of their hard work.

We’ve been hosting this event at OPCC for years, and the Snow Ball Gala earns millions of dollars for a charity that helps the Kansas citizens who need it the most. In fact, the Snow Ball Gala is the largest revenue generating gala in Kansas City, and the largest among Catholic charities organizations across the country.

Event Details
The last Snow Ball Gala was the 50th anniversary of this event. As such, the organizers wanted to create an event that was bigger and better than any that had come before. We went all out with cold sparks, confetti cannons and snow machines.
The evening had a packed itinerary, including an invitation-only Mass, a reception, a short program with video elements and a 3-hour non-stop band performance. Guests kept the dance floor packed until the lights came up.
In 2024, OPCC welcomed nearly 2,200 attendees. We celebrated the night with many friends and families of Snow Ball—guests who have attended the event for decades. It was truly an unforgettable evening.
