Tim Freeman is an award-winning chef who delivers a dynamic, innovative energy to the dining experience at the convention center.

Chef Freeman has over 30 years of culinary experience from around the world.

Originally from Granville, Ohio, he has held previous positions in five different countries, including Russia, Philippines, Kenya, Portugal and several major cities throughout the United States.

My food is influenced by my multicultural experiences. You just pick up on different techniques when you’re traveling around the world learning about other cultures. I’m excited to bring new ingredients and fresh ideas to the convention center.

Responsibilities

 

Freeman is responsible for elevating the menu and cultivating new ideas at the convention center, in addition to enhancing the culinary team and the customer experience for the venue’s high-profile banquets and catering events ranging in size from small meeting to large galas of 3,500 plus.
