As the largest donation center in the region, Overland Park Convention Center is a central hub every year for the local Marine Toys for Tots in Kansas City.
While you’re on site, help us give back to over 48,000 children throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area who are in need of gifts this holiday season.
In 2024, the Overland Park Convention Center collected over 36,000 toys — and with your help, we can make an even bigger impact this year.

Now through December 11, 2025 we will be open for public donations Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, excluding November 27-28.
Where
We’re located at 6000 College Boulevard, Overland Park, KS 66211.
Toys for Tots donations can be dropped off at the main entrance off of 110th Street—directional signage is provided.
How
To donate, bring a new, unwrapped toy and drop it off at the convention center.
What to donate
Toys for Tots assists children up to age 17. Items to consider for pre-teens and teens include, but are not limited to, sporting equipment, bags, balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars and trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.
What is Toys for Tots?
Toys for Tots is a non-profit organization organized and run by the Marine Corps. The program collects new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations for less fortunate children throughout the months leading up to Christmas. The goal is to help make the holiday season special and send a message of hope.
OPCC is proud to be a part of this large donation drive every year in Kansas City. Helping to serve over 45,000 children in 2024, the program donates gifts to children up to the age of 17.

In addition to OPCC, there are multiple Toys for Tots drop-off sites throughout the Kansas City region.
- For Non-Profit Organizations:
501(c)(3) charities may apply online between October 1 – November 1, 2025 (4:00 PM cutoff). These requests are prioritized first. After November 1, call 211 for holiday assistance. - For Families:
Families may apply directly through Toys for Tots. Availability depends on remaining toy supply after nonprofit requests are filled.
