When did you start at the Overland Park Convention Center (OPCC)?

Describe your role at OPCC.

I handle the OVG360 side of accounts payable as well as some other accounting duties. I run payroll for OVG360 at the Overland Park Convention Center as well. I am also on our safety and fun committees.

Why do you like what you do? What motivates you to come to work each week?

I like to help people solve problems and answer questions. Part of my job is onboarding new hires, and getting to clear things up for them that they may not know otherwise feels good.

Describe your role in the event planning process. What is your personal involvement from inception to completion?

I ensure that the employees working our events are payed, as well as our vendors for the supplies we use.

What’s your favorite thing about working at the OPCC?

Our team is the best! Everyone here is wonderful to work with and makes me look forward to coming in every day.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I like to play video games and write.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I build computers as a hobby for myself and my friends!
