A Kansas City native, Brian embarked on his journey in the food and beverage industry at the age of 15, immersing himself in the vibrant culinary scene by working part-time at a local restaurant. Beginning as a dishwasher and table busser, Brian’s passion for the industry ignited.

In 2005, Brian took a pivotal step in his food and beverage career, joining the Holiday Inn in Olathe, KS. Progressing from a server to the role of Banquet and Restaurant Manager in just three years showcased his dedication and leadership. Seeking new challenges in 2009, Brian assumed the role of Banquet Captain at the Overland Park Convention Center.

Brian’s ascent within the industry continued as he climbed the ranks, evolving into the Lead Food & Beverage Captain and ultimately assuming the position of Banquet Manager. His expertise further expanded into catering sales before serving as the Director of Catering Services.

In late 2022, Brian seized an exciting opportunity within the company, transitioning to the role of Assistant General Manager of Food and Beverage Services at Kauffman Stadium. Demonstrating versatility and leadership, he excelled in this role.

In 2024, Brian returned to familiar grounds at the Overland Park Convention Center, bringing his wealth of experience to the table as the Culinary Operations Manager.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Brian finds joy in his personal life, spending time with his family. His interests extend to the great outdoors, where he indulges in fishing and camping. Additionally, Brian channels his creativity into performing interior and exterior renovations on houses during his leisure time.
