When did you start at the Overland Park Convention Center (OPCC)?
Describe your role at OPCC.
I am the HR and accounting professional for the Food & Beverage department. I am in charge of processing and correcting any payroll for the department, as well as keeping track of sales and cost of goods.
Why do you like what you do? What motivates you to come to work each week?
I like getting to be a resource for the people I work with.
Describe your role in the event planning process. What is your personal involvement from inception to completion?
I help to coordinate back of house staff including schedules, pay, and personal time. I also help with coordinating temp workers and making sure check-in process is smooth sailing.

How does the team at OPCC create an event experience that’s unique for both exhibitors and attendees alike?
We do our best to adapt to any and all changes including requests from guests that attend the events. We strive for excellence in every area and most importantly are focused on the connections we build with each other and our guests who attend the events.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to go to concerts in my free time and spend as much time as I can with my family.

I can play the guitar, electric bass, and keys.
