Alex Jeffries is an Event Manager at the Overland Park Convention Center. She joined the convention center team in October of 2022, having previously worked at the University of Kansas’s Memorial Union. 

Before transitioning to the hospitality sector in 2021, Alex accumulated a decade of experience in operations and event management with various sports entities and parks and recreation organizations. 

Holding both a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree from the University of Kansas, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. With Rock Chalk pride running through her veins, you can often find her and her husband passionately supporting their favorite team or enjoying quality time with their pup, Simone!
