Over 45,000 Kansas City-Area Children in Need
As the largest donation center in the region, Overland Park Convention Center is a central hub every year for the local Marine Toys for Tots in Kansas City.
While you’re on site, help us give back to over 45,000 children throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area who are in need of gifts this holiday season.
In 2022, the Overland Park Convention Center collected over 21,200 toys.

What to donate
Toys for Tots assists children up to age 17. Items to consider for pre-teens and teens include, but are not limited to, sporting equipment, bags, balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars and trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.
What is Toys for Tots?
Toys for Tots is a non-profit organization organized and run by the Marine Corps. The program collects new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations for less fortunate children throughout the months leading up to Christmas. The goal is to help make the holiday season special and send a message of hope.
OPCC is proud to be a part of this large donation drive every year in Kansas City. Serving over 36,000 children in 2022, the program donates gifts to children up to the age of 17.

Families in need of toy assistance can fill out the online application starting Oct. 1 through Nov. 1. Past the cutoff date of Nov. 1, families can dial 211 for holiday assistance.
