Enjoy Art at the Center! The Overland Park Convention Center is not your typical facility. More than fifty regional artists have their art permanently displayed including a 30 foot blown glass chandelier, sculptures, paintings, metalwork, and more. Visit our Virtual Art Collection.
Only work by regional artists was utilized, some of whom have gone on to place art with the Smithsonian Museum, Warner Brothers, and the Museum of Fine Art, Boston. The works are meant to inspire our visitors, and make a difference in each event. Leopold Gallery oversaw the assembling of the collection.
Docent tours are available by contacting the city's art coordinator, Julie K. Bilyea at 913-344-8656 to schedule. Tours take 45 minutes to an hour.
